Suamico

Suamico is a village in Brown County on the western shore of Green Bay, roughly 10 miles north of downtown Green Bay. The Suamico River runs through the village on its way to the bay, and that waterway has defined the area since its earliest settlement. Suamico developed as a logging and mill community in the mid-1800s, with the river supporting the timber industry that built much of Northeast Wisconsin. The industrial era faded and the village transitioned into one of the more spacious and nature-connected residential communities in the Green Bay metro, but the river and bay shoreline remain central to what makes Suamico distinct.

Vickery Village anchors Suamico's commercial identity with over 200,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, and office space in a mixed-use center built to function as a true community hub. It is the development that gave Suamico its own commercial address. Residents do not need to drive into Howard or Green Bay for everyday dining, shopping, and services. The center draws both village residents and visitors from surrounding communities and has accelerated growth along the corridor.
